There are two types of entry in iti admission. In some states, the merit list comes out on the basis of marks and some states take the first entrance examination and then the merit list comes out.

  • First step: fill the online form
  • Second step: entrance exam / merit-based admission

  • Visit the official state website
  • Register with a valid ID proof and mobile number
  • After successful registration complete the application form

  • General category – ₹ 250
  • SC / ST / OBC Category – ₹ 150

Fees are exempted for physically challenged, visually impaired, war widows, children of martyred / disabled ex-servicemen, students referred by orphanages or juvenile correctional homes.

Iti Admission Entrance Exam Pattern


Iti admission entrance test for admission to ITI is usually done in August. Some states conduct exams twice a year: in April and August.

Iti Admission entrance exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions that have to be completed in a period of 3 hours. Questioning from the following syllabus:

1. Iti fitter


Fitter trade is the most preferred trade of ITI. There are more vacancies in Fitter.

The training period of fitter trade is 2 years and includes information and training related to fitter mechanics.

After fitter trade, you can easily get a job related to fitter mechanics in any government or a private company, industrial area, factory etc and you can start after your 10th.

2. Electrician


An electrician is the popular technical trade of the ITI course, millions of students are trained in this trade every year.

The main reason for its popularity is that there are more vacancies in the industrial area.

The training period of the Electrician Trade is 2 years. It gives data identified with electrical and preparing.

After doing this, you can easily get a job related to electrical work in any government institution or private company etc.

3. Electronic mechanic


In this course electronic components and their part like – LED, CCTV, IC, electronic circuits, other electronic gadgets etc. Information is given.
